Loan comparison calculator: compare EMI, interest, fees, and total cost

Use a loan comparison calculator to put two loan offers side by side and see how rate, tenure, and upfront fees affect monthly affordability and total cost.

Two loan offers balanced beside repayment timelines and a calculator.

Use the same loan amount for a fair comparison

Begin with the amount you actually need to borrow. Enter each offer's annual rate, tenure, and known upfront charges from the lender's written information rather than from an advertisement alone.

The calculator assumes reducing-balance monthly repayments. If an offer uses a flat rate, compare it with the flat-versus-reducing tool before placing the results side by side.

Look at EMI and total cost together

A longer tenure can make an EMI easier to afford while increasing the total interest paid. A shorter tenure can reduce total interest but place more pressure on the monthly budget.

The lowest quoted rate is not automatically the lowest-cost offer when fees or tenure differ. Compare the estimated total cost after adding the charges you know.

Check the terms the estimate cannot predict

Floating-rate changes, insurance, taxes, compulsory products, late-payment charges, prepayment rules, and lender-specific rounding can change the actual repayment. The comparison is a planning estimate rather than a quotation.

Read each Key Fact Statement and repayment schedule. Ask the lender to explain the annual percentage rate, all charges, and any difference between the documented total and your estimate before accepting an offer.

Advertised rates can change and may depend on credit score, income, employment type, loan amount, loan-to-value ratio, product, and other risk checks. They are not approval offers or lender rankings.

Freshness note: ICICI Bank's official standard-rate table was marked valid only through 31 July 2026 when checked, so those figures are not labelled as current here until the bank refreshes the page. Check the official ICICI page.
